I want to mock up a candidate page, please don't make this weird

The page uses 2 Views to do magic, and they need to be added to the "main" section to work (neither are on production GOA yet I will recreate them):

  • Events List - Person-Electorate: reads the electorate you picked from the State Electorate dropdown; Automatically shows upcoming events
(ALLCAPS electorate because events sync created duplicates (sorry probably my fault in a roundabout way))
needs to be added with Custom CSS modifier classes: person-tweaks-events-list
  • Photo - Block : reads the profile image you selected earlier, and gets it from media library as a medium sized thumbnail photo with description/alt text (I don't think this was actually being rendered before, despite everyone lovingly writing descriptions)
no more copy paste urls and giant images
needs to be added with Custom CSS modifier classes: person-tweaks-profile-view

Custom CSS modifier classes lets us do magic, but also useful to make the two views clear/obvious  viewing collapsed paragraphs when editing nodes).

Custom CSS and JS injectors do waves hand magically so that:

  • Make events list look less bad (WIP if i can't get action boxes otherways)
  • Add style to the email address button/link stop wrapping all ugly
(they don't need to be buttons though, we could format them another way and keep the ... crop)
  • Add the unicode envelope/dollar sign to the email and contribution links
(can use Something Else or nothing at all if you prefer)
  • Picks up the Photo View (mentioned above), moves it from whererever, puts it inside the Contact Details sidebar
(Profile Image can go above or below the Contact Details text/buttons - it doesn't matter, just tell me where you like it best)
If the "view" isn't in use then nothing happens and nobody is the wiser (GOOD BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE)
If it 'fails' their photo will just hanging out at the bottom of the page looking lonely (and if someone asks we say "why did you cripple your internet experience by disabling javascript")
Downside of keeping photo inside Contact Details sidebar is it happens at the end of the page on mobile views. I experimented with having the image stay up alongside the text, but it was a pain in the butt making the text flow around it.  We can keep experimenting though.

The song is considered by music critics to be one of the most expressive songs in the country genre.[22][23] In 2014 Rolling Stone ranked the song number nine on their 2014 list "100 Greatest Country Songs of All Time".[24] The song was also ranked No. 217 on Rolling Stone's list of "the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004, and No. 63 on their revised list in 2021.[25] In a 2024 update of their rankings, Rolling Stone expanded their ranking to the 200 Greatest Country Songs of All Time, this time placing "Jolene" at number one on the list.[26] Genius placed the song at 38th on their list of "The 100 Best Country Songs Of All Time Lyrics".[27] Time includes the song on their 2011 list of the "All-TIME 100 Best Songs".[28]

Time Out ranked the songs at the second place on their list "The 35 best country songs of all time".[29] Parade placed the song second on their list of the "101 Best Country Songs of All Time".[30] The Tennessean includes the song on their 2019 list of "The 100 best country songs of all time", writing that it "crosses genre and generations, a once-in-a-world song without boundaries".[31] NME also includes the song on their 2018 list of "The 25 Best Country Music Songs of All Time".[32]

In the film The Intervention (Clea Duvall; 2016), Annie (Melanie Lynskey) tells Lola (Alia Shawkat), "Nobody likes a Jolene," after the younger woman stirs up trouble among a group of older couples by making a play for several individuals among them.

The song's international popularity became apparent during the COVID-19 pandemic when the New Zealand government put the country in lockdown. A newspaper summary of "essential things to know" explained that washing one's hands with soap should take "as long as it takes to sing the 'Happy Birthday' song twice or the chorus of Dolly Parton's hit song 'Jolene.'"[33] According to Parton, "Jolene" is her most frequently covered song.[5]

Stacked Contact Details

Assert the photo jQuery won't/can't append to multiple contact details slots.

Donate

Other info could go here but not a lot of supported stuff tbh - some MPs use the stack to paste a photo with a bit of visual separation which is nice.

We could split out the dono buttons if we had some visual reason to do that.
